Ready State is a startup digital marketing agency focused on digital marketing strategy, user experience design and journalistic content creation. Our clients range from some of the biggest brands in Silicon Valley to rapidly growing startups.
We have an immediate need for a planner who can help us organize and deliver on a global campaign. You’ll work with the Director of Strategy as well as other strategists and team members to define and build marketing and communications plans and other deliverables.
Develop audience insights based on primary and secondary research
Identify and cultivate a few insights that can drive a strong and compelling set of campaign messages
Build a multi-channel campaign plan and the touchpoints and messages that will live across these channels.
Help the creative team connect on these messages to develop great copy and design.
Organize the critical elements of a global campaign (plans, plan variations, assets, guidance docs) into a coherent package and launch to multiple markets.
Other responsibilities over time may include digital marketing performance analysis, competitive analysis, messaging frameworks, personas, wireframes and functional copy.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience developing and managing multi-channel communications strategies
4-6 years of digital campaign and relationship marketing experience
Critical-thinking marketer who can think in hypotheses and develop rationales that ground strategies and plans
Uncanny ability to organize information and good attention to detail
Fondness for defining systems and processes where they help reduce friction in the marketing machine
Good team skills and an ability to hold opinions strongly but loosely
Experience in B2B tech or partner programs a plus
Undergraduate degree; graduate degrees and advertising degrees an interesting bonus
