Copywriter on Global Travel/Tech Brand

Responsibilities

We’re a small, rapidly growing agency in North Beach looking for a full-time, mid-level copywriter who loves creative but also thrives in the nitty gritty of messaging strategy, content generation, and strategic analysis. This role requires equal-parts writing chops, strategy prowess, and client-ready communication and project management skills. You’ll have a team of strategists, art directors, and creative leadership to work with, but autonomy, flexibility, and self-motivation are critical.

This is a full-time position, where you’ll be working half at the agency, and half in-house with a huge-and-getting-huger global brand that straddles the line between tech and travel.

Qualifications

  • BS in Communications, English, Marketing or equivalent
  • Portfolio of relevant work
  • 2 to 4 years professional experience in marketing and/or advertising (agency experience preferred)
  • A drive to generate many great ideas instead of just a few perfect ones
  • Ability to turn around copy quickly and help manage the editing and approval process
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Flexibility and eagerness to work on a variety of projects
  • Excellent references
